Live online childbirth education classes

The perfect option for those who live too far to take my in-person course, have difficult schedules, or simply prefer to take the course from the comfort of their own home.

How it works

The interactive dynamic of my in-person course is captured through live video conferencing where students can see me and others in the class. Through screen sharing, it is possible to see the very same pictures, posters, and charts used in my in-person courses. Audio can be muted if there is background noise in an individual’s setting and unmuted for questions and discussion. Every class is recorded and the recordings are sent to students shortly after the end of each class.

The Long Island Pregnancy and Childbirth Meetup*

I have seen and experienced the profound, positive effect bonding with others who are on a similar journey can have for expecting moms and their partners. I started the Long Island Pregnancy and Childbirth meetup as a community where women and their partners can go to connect with other expecting families.

Every member of this group is on a quest to know more, take care of their physical and emotional health, and prepare for birth and beyond. There are no judgements of any kind in this group. No pressure to make specific choices. No hidden agendas. Just support and a desire to learn.

It’s totally free to join. Check out the Long Island Pregnancy and Childbirth meetup page to see more and respond to future meetups. I hope to see you there!

* Meetup is the world’s largest network of local groups with a mission to revitalize local community and help people around the world self-organize. More than 9,000 groups get together in local communities each day with the goal of improving themselves or their communities.
